Naz E. Wehrli
Life Sciences CounselNaz focuses her practice on patent litigation, with an emphasis on biotechnology or pharmacological litigation.
Before earning her J.D., she was an Assistant Professor at Oregon Health Sciences University, after being a post-doctoral fellow at Princeton University. Her research at OHSU focused mainly on cancer research, specifically on DNA repair and recombination.
Naz has represented clients in federal district court, in administrative proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, in appellate proceedings at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Naz is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, earned her B.A. in Biochemistry and Mathematics cum laude from Mount Holyoke College, and obtained her Ph.D. in Genetics from Columbia University. After being a scientist for over 15 years, she obtained her J.D. from Cornell University.
