Han has a long history of successfully representing multinational clients in complex patent disputes across various forums, including U.S. district courts, the Federal Circuit, ITC, PTAB, and arbitration. He has also represented petitioners and patent owners in more than 110 post-grant proceedings, including three of the first ever filings at the PTAB. Han’s proficiency spans a wide array of technologies, including computer hardware and software, networking, semiconductors, wireless and mobile communications, artificial intelligence, consumer electronics, medical devices, cloud technologies, databases, bioinformatics, and automotive systems.

For several years, Han was seconded as General Counsel to Japan’s pioneer IP Fund, where he oversaw global patent licensing and litigation efforts in the U.S., Germany, China, the UK, and Japan, achieving a remarkable win rate of over 90%.

Han is also committed to pro bono work and has partnered with Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) to assist undocumented youth in applying for legal status in the United States.

Han holds an M.S. in Biostatistics and a B.S. in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and was an editor on the Georgetown Law Journal.

Han is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
