Groombridge, Wu, Baughman & Stone is pleased to announce that Reginald Lucas, former United States International Trade Commission (USITC) Senior Counsel, has joined the firm as Counsel. Reginald is a seasoned intellectual property litigator with extensive experience directed to patent, trade secret, and trademark litigation, in both district court and the USITC, including first-chair trial experience.  While at the USITC, Reginald was recognized with the Commission’s Superior Accomplishment Award for exceptional contributions.

Reginald’s technical expertise is directed to sophisticated, state-of-the-art computer technology. He has litigated complex cases involving cellular communication (e.g., 3G and LTE), semiconductor chip architecture, operating systems, networking protocols, web services, GPS, electronic payment systems, radar and sonar, power systems, automated manufacturing algorithms, and consumer devices (e.g., hardware and software related to PCs, mobile phones, and audio speakers). 

Reginald holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Old Dominion University and has worked as an engineer for two major Department of Defense contractors. He earned his J.D. from William and Mary Law School.
