Partner Megan Raymond has been shortlisted for two awards at the 2024 LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards: General Patent Litigator of the Year in the DC Metro area and Post-Grant Proceedings Attorney of the Year. The LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards recognize the region’s most distinguished practitioners and their firms for their exemplary work in the Life Sciences legal practice over the past twelve months.
Megan is one of the foremost practitioners of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), where she has handled more than 100 proceedings since it was founded in 2012. These include wins for Novo Nordisk, the maker of Ozempic and the most valuable company in Europe by market cap, and Twitter. Megan also tries patent cases in federal district courts and the ITC, and argues appeals before the Federal Circuit. Megan is a leader within the Federal Circuit Bar association and the PTAB Bar Association. She was recently elected the PTAB Bar Association’s Vice President, a culmination of her dedication to the association and her efforts to advance diversity in the legal profession.
The annual recognitions are based on interviews and surveys completed by active industry participants. Winners will be announced at the annual awards ceremony held in New York City on September 5, 2024.
