Megan Raymond was elected Vice President of the PTAB Bar Association at the organization’s 2024 annual conference this month. Founded in 2016, the PTAB Bar Association was formed to “serve as an avenue for constructive dialogue between the bar community, the PTAB, and other stakeholders” at the increasingly active forum to resolve issues of patent validity.
Megan has been one of the most prominent advocates at the PTAB since its creation in 2012, and she has held multiple leadership roles within the PTAB Bar Association. She previously served as Secretary of the PTAB Bar Association and has served in leadership roles on its Programming and Women’s committees. On the Women’s Committee, she was instrumental in preparing the PTAB Bar Association “Women at the PTAB” report on gender diversity at the forum.
This year’s PTAB Bar Association annual conference brought PTAB practitioners and more than 100 judges and officials from federal district courts, the Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office together for three days in Washington, D.C.
