Jennifer Wu has been elected to the board of directors of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY), a not-for-profit corporation formed in 1989 to represent the interests of New York Asian American attorneys, judges, law professors, legal professionals, legal assistants, paralegals, and law students.
With more than 1,500 members, AABANY’s mission is “to improve the study and practice of law, and the fair administration of justice for all by ensuring the meaningful participation of Asian Americans in the legal profession.” In 2022, Jennifer was named AABANY’s Member of the Year for her “outstanding leadership inside and outside of AABANY”.
Recognjzed for both her prowess in the courtroom and dedication to pro bono service, Jennifer has spent countless hours representing victims of anti-Asian violence and their families. She received the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) 2023 Pro Bono Award.
